Nursing-Led Alzheimer's & Dementia Care
Led by a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared clinician with over 30 years of nursing experience, providing clear, compassionate guidance for complex behavioral health needs.
About Us
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia is one of the most complex experiences a family can face. The behavioral changes, the uncertainty, the weight of daily decisions — it requires more than good intentions. It requires expert guidance.
Caring for the Caregiver is a nursing-led health services practice focused on Alzheimer's disease and related neurocognitive conditions. Led by Dr. Caryn Blair, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, we provide clinical assessments, caregiver-inclusive care planning, and ongoing supportive nursing services.
You don't have to navigate this alone.

Our Services
Every care plan is built around your loved one's clinical needs, your needs as a caregiver, and the cultural context your family brings.
Thorough clinical evaluations conducted by DNP-prepared clinicians to identify behavioral and cognitive patterns — providing the clarity you need to move forward.
Individualized care plans that include you as an active participant — delivering clear health information so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Ongoing, responsive nursing care that evolves alongside your loved one's condition — ensuring you are never left navigating behavioral changes alone.
Our Approach
Our nursing-led approach combines clinical rigor with genuine understanding. Every engagement follows a structured process grounded in evidence-based practice.
We begin with a comprehensive psychiatric-mental health nursing assessment — evaluating your loved one's behavioral patterns and the impact on you as a caregiver.
Together, we develop a caregiver-inclusive care plan built on clear health information — translating clinical complexity into language that supports real decision-making.
Through ongoing supportive nursing services, we walk alongside you as conditions evolve — adjusting the care plan and ensuring consistent clinical guidance.
"For the first time, someone truly understood the clinical complexity of what we were facing — and gave us a clear path forward."
